About Me

author pic 300x300 About MeHi everyone! My name is Scott Ward.  I would just like to tell you a little bit about myself, just so you know where i’m coming from and how I’ve got to where I am now.

I grew up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Canada, ya way up north compared to most of you.  I took my early schooling in Prince Albert and then moved on to Saskatoon, an hour and a half south to attend the University of Saskatchewan.  This is where I received a bachelors degree in Physical Education and continued on to become a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.  I also obtained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

I grew up playing all kinds of athletics (hockey, baseball, volley ball, basketball, and badminton) , which seems to have lead me on the path I’ve been following and continue to follow to this day.  I still play rec hockey but lean more towards the health and fitness side of things lately.

I have a beautiful wife and two young boys that fill my life with happiness and joy, and allow me to do what I do with support and understanding.

I am currently employed as an Exercise Therapist at South Hill Physiotherapy and Fitness Centre. This is where I train athletes, and your average everyday citizen looking to get fit.  I also rehabilitate injured workers and people that have been in a motor vehicle accident.
